Perdiz Pre Stud welcomes you and we hope you enjoy your visit.
We love Spanish horses not only for their willingness to learn and wishing to please but also the culture and customs that come with them.
We have taken great care in the selection of our foundation stock. Our horses are bred from within Bocado bloodlines that are known for beauty, functional movement and kind temperaments.
Eclipse was our first purebred filly and she arrived when she was two years old.
She is bred from Carthusian bloodlines, a prizewinning mare in both 'in hand' and under traditional saddle.
She enjoys hacking out and recently proved to be an excellent brood mare.

Our lovely Genoa arrived in 2007, a pure bred Carthusian filly of dressage conformation.
Her breeding is Yeguada Maipe origin, bred by Kim and John Rodia, a top prizewinner at National Championships.
2nd yearling PRE fillies in 2008 & 2nd Two year old PRE fillies in 2009 at BAPSH National Breed Show, Hartpury

Tabitha joined us in Spring 2010.
She is a bright bay filly (Aa Ee) with a dun dilution giving an orange hue to her coat, a red dorsal stripe and leg bars.
Her breeding is Insurgente Cen (Yeguada Centurion) by Navegante XVIII (Lovera) on her sire's side, while her dam is by Magno VIPedro de Cardenas Osuna) by Ranchero III . She is bred by Mary McBryde.

Yartleton Imperial
Our Dales Cob 'Impy' came to stay with us when he was a yearling in 2001.
His sire is Hodgson Lane Diplomat and his dam is Castle Hill Princess by Hodgson Lane Prince II.
He was bred by Jan James of the Yartleton Stud at Mayhill, Glos.
Impy can turn a hoof to many different jobs , chain harrowing , sledge, log pulling, but really enjoys hacking out the most.
